It's snowing. It's APRIL 18TH, in Vancouver, and it's SNOWING! What the FUG is UP with this SNOW?! @___x; There was a bit of hail, even, when I was walking home from work. From here, down to Tacoma, and Everett, and Seattle, possibly?... there's snow. A LOT of it (for us, that is), even, in some areas! For us, this is CRAZY WEATHER! It's supposed to be getting warmer by now. Mother Nature... what's going on!? D:

Oh, tell me about it. I had my motorcycle exams schedualed today at the DMV, and I spent a grand total of six hours there getting through my tests thanks to snow squalls and general chaos there delaying things. High speed manuevers and sudden breaking in SHEETING ICE at points!!

Fricking graduated ICBC licensing system, have to jump through all the exams all at once again to renew my license... serious pain. And this happens on the only freaking day I can renew my license all at once (and when they'll allow me to. Bloody only can renew license two weeks before expiry, and tests only start the week before my license expires, GRAH!) so I can get to and from work.

Weather = EPIC FAIL! *gnashes teeth*

Oh yeah. I was one of two who did. The rest of the people couldn't handle the conditions which included being soaked to the bone. They were newbies, I have about two years experience annnnd, I'm a bit more used to erm... how bikes react in the elements and how to deal with skids, hydroplaning, and back tires spinning out. And I had better gear.

(my little orange bike did not like it one bit. you've seen it, the little Yamaha with the Autobot decal. It had trouble starting. Hell, all of the bikes did... it was in the negatives out there. Made me long for expensive electrically heated gear, despite wearing my thermals.)

... and then I had to ride home in it. Bleh. [/rant]

With windchill? Yeah. It actually hit -2 for an hour down there without windchill, but the wind generally made it feel like it was -5 when it was really 2.

But it's okay. I had a nice long hot shower and a cup of coffee spiked with brandy to warm me right up when I got home.
