Sakura Con 2008 - Friday

uftakiHooo... am I hitting the post-Con sleepiness, now. ^^;; *smacks self!* Can't fall asleep at work. Falling asleep at work baaaaaaaad. Anyway, back to the Con report! Hopefully this'll wake me up a little. ^_^;;
Not as much rambling or tangents, here. There IS, however, many descriptions and links to the videos from the AMV Contest. :)
Got up early... EARLY this morning. Perhaps a little too early, I found. I could still get everything done without waking up so early, I found. Ah well. Got myself over to Reg. for the morning shift. Not much really to say here, that I didn't say over on the Thurs. report. Things went off fairly well.
Didn't do much during my between-shifts break. Went off to the card gaming room, and picked up some Kingdom Hearts CCG stuff. Then I think I hit the dealers hall? Can't quite remember. Staff got to get in an hour early, each day, though. X3 Had lunch, and had Sara with me, and met some fellow BJD people while eating. :) Couldn't make Friday's impromptu meet, though, as I'd be working at the time.
After my second shift, I had the rest of the day off. This might be where I spent the bulk of my time in the Dealer's Hall. xD Made a stop-off at my room to drop off everything before heading off to the AMV Contest.
Which ROCKED, this year. X3 The AMV Contest is ALWAYS my main, big draw at Sakura Con. I can go without seeing most all the other things, but I always want to make it to the AMV Contest, and this year didn't disappoint. A lot of great videos, in all categories. They had a couple print-out sheets of all the various vidoes, along with their category + creator in addition to the voting slips... I LOVED having that this year! X3 I'm going to list them all here, as well as link to which ones I can, and offer a few comments on them. Sometimes I wonder why certain videos were in one category, and not the other... but it's still all enjoyable. ^__^ I've linked to YouTube, where possible, for ease-of-viewing. A couple of the YouTube vids have links to higher-rez downloads in their comment section.
