HAPPY DAY!

Fangeekery abounds... I spent an absolute BOMB today, but it was worth it.... X3

Before I get into the Transformers fandom part of it... I bought the double-set of Labyrinth and The Dark Crystal DVDs... Combine those with what I already have -- Willow, The Neverending Story, and The Last Unicorn... and that sounds like a great fantasy movie marathon, doesn't it...? X3

Now, onto the TFs!



Galaxy Force first:

Picked up Excellion and Nitro Convoy. Dang you, PuraJo and others... for making me interested in these two. X3 I haven't seen much of the series yet at all, and yet you're making me interested in these characters. @_@ Picking up Starscream was one thing, as his alt mode was modelled after Dreamwave's War Within design... but two original characters...!? Hoooo.... I never was interested in Armada or Energon... but I forsee myself getting sucked into and enjoying Galaxy Force.... XD (did watch episode 18 while I was in the store, there ^^;)

Generation One:

Found the reissues of Skids and Sideswipe... X3 Sideswipe is just cool, and of course now I have to keep my eyes open for a Sunstreaker reissue... XD But Skids!! <3 Never had much screen time at ALL in the cartoon... and really only had 1 comic issue in Marvel's early run dedicated completely to him (and a few more character insights before and after that issue), but that 1 issue was enough to make myself like the cute, music-loving, daydreaming theoretician.... X3

Binaltech/Alternators:

Found Alternators Jazz today! Wh00t! XD True, I would have preferred the Binaltech version of him, but he's hard to find, dangit! If I do find the BT version of him, I'll pick him up... and possibly/probably re-paint the Alt. Jazz into his original G1 colours/racing stripes. X3 (either paint, or use stickers. (The owner of the store (Ages 3 + Up) said he was working out a deal with the guy from RetroLabels, to stock those stickers in store.)

On Binaltech... The man at the store said the BT Prowl mold would likely be shipping some time in late July. You can bet I'll be going there then, and snap one up. X3 He ALSO said that the repaint of the Prowl mold would be blue... Who this would be, he didn't exactly know... but he surmised it would be Skids. I personally don't quite see how Skids would work with a Prowl-car mode, but... we'll see...

For the latest mold released, the Toyota Scion, he was pretty confident/sure that it would be Ironhide. I forgot to ask what the repaint of him would be (Ratchet most likely...)



Now... excuse me while I run off to watch my new DVDs, and play with my new toys... X3
