Olympic Torch Relay

So... today the Torch is running through New Westminster, and since one leg of the route is fairly close to where I am, we went off to go see the Torch come through! :3 It was fun. Awesome to see, of course. What was (somewhat) surprising is how FAST it passes by! The guy was jogging at a pretty good clip. I took a few photos, then jogged after him a short ways, to where the next trade-off was, and took a few more photos.

Celebrities to carry torch on last day

I'm posting a lot today... xD For everyone's interest (and amusement!!)... there's quite an interesting list of celebrities that will carry the torch on the last day.

Names include Michael Buble, Jann Arden, Walter Gretzky (father of Wayne Gretzky), Steve Nash, Stan Smyl (former Vancouver Canuck [hockey]), Luis Passaglia (former BC Lions [football])... and one Arnold Schwarzenegger. XD
