to Ebay or not to Ebay...

That's the question I'm considering right now. I've added a few more things to my sales pages, here... (toys, 2 comics, some figurines, a set of coasters)... but I'm debating on whether or not to put 2 more items up there, or to put them on Ebay, and see what I get.

So... I'm throwing this out there, for people's opinions. The 2 items in question are Masterpiece Starscream (original green version), and Masterpiece Megatron (no orange plug version - would I even be able to SELL this!? [I'm in Canada, fyi]) - both Japanese Takara/Tomy imports. Items are in good, decent quality. Starscream has some surface dust from being on display, and one of Megatron's tabs got snapped, but I re-glued that on with zap-a-gap and it should be secure.

Thoughts? Would it be worth it to post on Ebay, and see what I can get? Prices seem to vary on Ebay, from initial glances, so I'm not exactly sure yet how much to charge (I'd have to look at the completed listings again). Also, I've never sold anything on Ebay, so I'm not 100% how it all works. Can anyone give me a few pointers?

I've sold a few things on Ebay and it's really not that bad. Definitely check out the "completed listings" to see about how much he goes for. I would start off the auction at the bare minimum you'd be willing to let them go for (within reason of what they're worth on the market) and then see how it goes. Worst case scenario, I think you'd just be out about a buck or so.

I've had excellent luck selling things on eBay, as long as you cover your butt. Make sure you're charging enough for shipping, fully disclose condition of items to the point that it can't be disputed later, etc.

I've taken quite a few photos, and I'll make sure to describe the items well. I just have to find packing boxes that'll fit them individually, before I can get shipping quotes. Thanks. ^.^
