Burnaby
My home city. A single street separates it from Vancouver. It's a really nice place to live. :3 It's nice and suburban, but also not TOO far out from everything -- we're close to various malls and shops, and transit (where I live, at least), and we can get into Vancouver very easily. It's a nice mix of residential and commercial. Not too busy, not too quiet. It has a lot of green trees and everything all around, too. :D I love living here. ^_^

Gizmoduck
I wasn't too interested in this character when I first started seeing him in Ducktales, when I was a kid. I used to think he stole all of Launchpad's "hero" thunder (and I was a big Launchpad fan). As I've grown older, though, I've become just as fond of this good-hearted, bumbling, egoish/insecure tin can. *chuckles* Plus, it's a cool suit! X3 He has an amusing dynamic with Darkwing Duck, the way the two often butt heads against each other, when they're supposed to be on the same side and all! xD (I'm talking dynamic as STRICTLY friends [if you could CALL them 'friends' xD]/co-hero-workers/ person-I-disagree-with-intensely-but-put-up-with-in-order-to-save-the-city/world/whatever... MAYBE! by the way. No slash for these two!)

Greece
Birth country of my Dad -- one half of my heritage. They gave us philosophy, medicine, and the root of many words comes from here. They also have a very interesting and colorful mythology! :3 And it's a beautiful country. I've been over there three times, myself. My dad, and all his family, are up in the northern, Macedonian (NOT the new country!) region of Greece -- near Thessaloniki. It's a beautiful region with mountains, and the odd sparse forest, and many many many orchards that grow grapes, figs, apples, and -- in the town where Dad's family is -- the most DELICIOUS PEACHES you've ever tasted. *__*

Karsh
One of the characters from Square's RPG "Chrono Cross" (sequel to Chrono Trigger). He was this big, strong, handsome, axe-wielding "knight" with a loud, gregarious (outward) personality. He wasn't all brawn and bluster, though. He was also shown to be incredibly loyal, conflicted, and with an unrequited, hidden love. He was a fairly deep character for being one of the 'side characters' (granted, a more prominent side character, but side character nonetheless) He was a bit pushy/stubborn at times, and loud and none-too-subtle... but some of his comments were amusing, and he was simply a very interesting character. :3
(he was also one half of one of my favourite [non-canon] pairings from that game. xD)

Slingshot
Stubborn, loud, braggart of an Aerialbot. All five of the Aerialbots have endured themselves to me, and Sling's no exception. :3 Thanks to some great fics such as "Dead Aces", and even watching the episode "Aerial Assault", Slingshot shows himself to be deeper than all his stubborn bluster. There's a heart in there -- it's just buried deep down, and he just shields himself a LOT, with all his agressive attitude.
In role-play, Ti and I have created a rather quirky pairing with him, and Blades, and Flight. ^^; The two 'share' Blades in a trine [they both love him, he loves them, but the two 'brothers' don't "love" each other -- at least not in _THAT_ way]. It rather came out-of-the-blue, even for us... but we have fun with it. Even without Flight in the equasion, I've seen some Blades/Sling stuff, and their personalities just bounce [explode] off of each other interestingly. ^^;

Disney ducks
I've always loved the Disney ducks. Ever since I was a very, very young child... I've always had a soft spot for Donald. I used to feel so sorry for him in all the shorts, where Chip and Dale and the nephews used to play on his temper and torment him... and how he always seemed to get the short end of the stick. My love of the duck family only grew when watching Ducktales, to include the nephews, Scrooge, Gyro, Launchpad, and so many more. Then came Darkwing Duck to add to the list. I've always enjoyed the comics, too... collecting many of the Donald and Scrooge titles.

nostalgia
I love waxing nostalgic over stuff. ^^; Saturday morning cartoons, fond memories... all the cartoons and comics I still enjoy now... *lol* It's just fun to remember and enjoy all that stuff. It makes me feel very happy. :)

Aerialbots
I first started getting interested in the Aerialbots thanks to some great fics and art by people like Lex and "Dead Aces". I thought they were a quirky, amusing bunch. I love the lines and sleekness of the fighter jets, and as I'm a staunch Autobot-supporter, I like having Autobot jets I can ooooh over and admire. ^_~ My love of them has only grown since reading more, and RPing them myself. :3

conventions
I love attending conventions. There's just something exciting and invigorating about being in a place with a group of people, sharing similiar interests... The fun of wandering around, seeing other people's costumes, the fun [and headaches!] of making your own... getting to the convention... seeing people/friends there that you'd never be able to see otherwise... It's just a heckuva lotta fun. :3

The very first convention I went to, I believe, were two local Star Trek conventions. They were small, mostly dealer-orientated gatherings... just in one building... but they had a guest speaker each time (William Shatner and Johnathan Frakes, respectively), and it was still fun to see it all. In 1999, I went down, with other members from the anime club at SFU that I was a part of, to -- then Baka-Con, now Sakura Con -- down in Seattle, Washington. I've gone to that con annually ever since. :3 I've also attended Anime North in Toronto, twice, and the local Anime Evolution, in Burnaby (moving to Vancouver this year), twice.

Reno
Reno here means the character from the PSX game "Final Fantasy VII". X3 He was a member of the Turks -- a sort of 'black ops/bodyguards/hitmen/whatever-you-need-them-to-do-they'll-do-it' sort of group. All are dressed neatly in dark navy suits, black ties... well, all except Reno. He was casual, sloppy, cocky, a bit snarky/sarcastic... "cool"... but also a very good and dangerous opponent when he got serious. He was just very amusing to watch, and a fun character.

old-school gaming
I love playing around with a lot of older-system games and such. I love a LOT of the SNES-era RPGs. There are a bunch of games for the NES that I love to just fiddle around with, too... when I'm bored, or just want something light, fun, and amusing. I also enjoy playing a couple old games (emulated) from the Commodore 64 and Apple IIe. I've nothing against modern games, and I enjoy a couple of them myself... but there was just a certain "charm" to a lot of older games I find. :3

singing
I enjoy singing. I'm not especially talented, or anything, but I (HOPE!) I can at least carry a tune fairly well. ^_^;; [I know I have trouble with breath-support; I always have.] I used to be in my high school choir, and we had a lot of fun there. I haven't done any serious singing since, but I still love singing along to a lot of my favourite songs.

travelling
I love travelling. Love, love, love! It doesn't matter if it's a cross-country/pan-country flight, a bus-trip somewhere, a longer car-trip, or simply a day trip, driving in-and-around and just out-of-town, enjoying the sights. I love being able to just GO, whenever the chance comes, to just go around... look and explore and see the sights. Go places and meet family and friends. See new places. Getting there is definately part of the fun, in my mind. :3

Glenn
Another character from Chrono Cross here [named in tribute? to a character from its predecessor, Chrono Trigger]. He's the character you see in my default user icon. ^^; He's a young, noble, and loyal knight. All his life, he's lived in the shadow of his father and his older brother -- even in both of their deaths. He's young, unsure and all... and through the course of the game you get to see him really come into his own. He becomes a fantastic, strong fighter in your party. If you manage to get both of his special swords, I think he even becomes stronger than your main character!
