SQUEE! TF:Animated just keeps getting better and better! XD
First off, poor Sari trying to keep up with running her father's business. Way out of the realm, truly, for a young girl to manage, but... she well and honestly TRIED. No goofy kids stuff here... she truly tried to keep on top of things, and took up responsibility when she needed to. Much kudos to her. The head CEO... hoo.. *snorts* He's going to be a problem this season, I'm sure. A minor thorn in the side, but... still a problem. Which leads off to the big (not-so-secret) reveal: no official records for Sari. Who is she? What could she possibly be? How did she come into the care of Issac Sumdac? Is Sari just a name, or does it stand for something? Let's see if any of these questions are answered?
And the Elite Guard themselves... Total awesomeness. Jazz is just pure LOVE all the way around. The VOICE! *_* Beautiful work, there. The attitude and the mannerisms are just so Jazz! Very happy, here. :3 I really, really hope we get to see more of him. ^__^
And I hope to see more of Ultra Magnus, too. He appeared brusque at first, but he's just being cautious, on a new world, with situations he's not familiar with. As someone else mentioned, good match on the voice, too... low, commanding, but it has a tiny hint of a possible warmth/gentleness to it -- definately gives off a few vibes of Robert Stack. That lightning staff of his is awesome! X3 And he praised Optimus, and gave Sentinel a warning, after watching everything, and making his own decision on what he found.
And Sentinel.... heh. The writers are surely doing their job well, of making him into one big jerk! His prior experience with organics, and of loosing Elita (and not even knowing, yet, she's still alive -- THAT'LL be an interesting revelation, no doubt!) to them has certainly soured him. Dunno if he's putting on an air of arrogance or bravado... or if maybe he started doing that, as a shield against the bad experience... and it's just been so long, now, that it's his permanent attitude... Or if he's really just been prone to acting that way the whole time, and things just got WORSE after the whole spider-thing. :/ Ah well. He definately needs to be brought down a few pegs. Optimus standing up to him, then the lecture by Magnus was certainly a good start. And I think even bigger lessons await further down the road (Headmaster, anyone? ^_~)
This whole series just keeps getting better... Heh. Can't wait for next week's episode! xD
Oh... and editing to add... the bit with Sumdac, in that cave with Megatron.... creepy and scary, and I'm feeling really sorry for Sumdac. First, he was duped by Megatron into rebuilding him... now he's being duped by Megs AGAIN... a little nudge of GUILT, strategically placed by Megatron... into thinking the Autobots don't CARE enough to rescue him, or rather, that they WON'T rescue him, due to his earlier actions. That's really got to be hard on him - break all hope.
And just that little smile of Prowl's, when Op rescued him, and helped him up? That little smile just made me squee! So cute! XD
