Something for my friends-list to be wary of... Picked up a couple of the movie TF toys yesterday: Jazz, Bumblebee, Barricade and Blackout. Jazz, Barricade and Blackout are all awesome.

Bumblebee, on the other hand... has an unfortunate design flaw. D:

There's this little 'button' on his hood, which is supposed to flip it down. Said button didn't want to work on my toy. Robot mode is awesome. No problems there. But trying to get it BACK to car mode...? Hood doesn't want to snap back into place, no matter how much I jostle it! D:

So I had to return it. If anyone else is having this problem, I suggest you return your toys, too. I'm not the only one who's had this problem. Hopefully, this is just some random glitch, but I don't think so. This is some sort of design flaw. But if enough people who find this defect turn the toy back in, hopefully Hasbro will figure out what's gone wrong, and correct it.

Too bad... because the robot mode is awesome. The hood just will NOT click back into place. T__T

Yeah, I'll put up my name as someone who had that happen to me ._.; I hope they fix it, because his robot mode really is that awesome.

Hmmm ... There was talk that all the Ratchet toys were recalled. I wonder if it was a similar design flaw that prompted it?

*nods* Oh.... you BET I'm going to go see it opening day. XD Whether that's the 4th, or the now-rumored/official(?) earlier start date of the 3rd. X3 Where will you be going to watch the film? :) I'm hitting Silver City Metropolis, myself.

And everything's okay. It's just something very special and important that I can NOT miss.

hm... I haven't heard of any Ratchet recalls... o.o They were all still in the store that I went to. Maybe it was a similiar design flaw? I don't know, as I don't have the Ratchet toy, yet.

I just got back from Toys R Us myself.

I got Slumberbee and Softimus Prime, the Optimus Prime/Ravage two pack, and a diecast of Prime.

Son just handed me Bumblebee and said the wheel popped off. The front wheel did pop off and it won't go back on. Doesn't look broken but it's definitely not going back on. He did transform him back and it worked fine.

Very strange... my Bee's just fine... already transformed him back and forth a few times now and no problems at all.

I think the problem is, as cool as some of the Automorph stuff is, it's causing problems left and right(I said, even before they came out, this line was going to be huge in the secondary market five years down the line, because a lot of them are gonna break). I actually haven't had any problems with 'Bee, but I had to take Blackout back to the store, because he has these teeeeeeny little tabs that hold up his shoulders, which are attached to the big rotor on his back. Poor guy had stress tabs right out of the box.

Still though, the movie figures are AWESOME. Leader class Prime is full of awesome, love and win, all at the same time. =D I am one week away from my next paycheck, and owning Starscream and one of the Killer B's(Barricade, Blackout, Brawl and Bonecrusher... though Straya's prolly gonna get 'Cade at some point).
