Cut and paste the card order, turn on your MP3 player or other music player, and set it on random. No skipping. Each song that comes up is, effectively, a 'card'. Write them down in order.
1 - (beneath the 2 card) Basis of the situation. It represents the general tone of the reading and identifies the problem for the querent.
Europe - The Final Countdown (2000 Dance Remix) hmm... a song about starting off, going forward, leaving things behind/looking back... Cool song, this time with a funky beat. ^^;
2 - Crosses the situation. This card shows the challenges or obstacles that are facing the querent.
Ghost in the Shell - the Making of a Cyborg (opening) Ermm... I'm going to be hit by a hacker? @_x;; Or at least, have a technical/computer puzzle/mystery thrown at me? o.o;;
3 - Subconscious. The true nature of how the querent feels about the matter.
Hiroki Kikuta - "A Curse" - Secret of Mana soundtrack" The eerie, thrumming music just before battling the Dark Lich in the Mana Fortress. Ominous. Just lovely. (it's my fear that a REALLY embarassing song'll pop up on my playlist, for everyone to laugh and wonder why I have THAT song... ^^; *sheepish laugh*)
4 - The past. Events of the recent past that will have influence or effect on the matter at hand.
The Muppet Show opening theme .... my love for the 80s coming to the fore? ^^;;
5 - Conscious. The querents known feelings, which should be read in conjunction with card 3.
Chuck Berry - Run Run Rudolph .... I have NO idea as to the meaning of this one. @_x;; Light-hearted fun? ^_^;
6 - The future. Something that will come to pass in the near future.
Madonna - Frozen hrm. A cold, closed heart... opening. Singing about someone self-centered, and trying to change that/open their heart. What this could mean, I don't understand. o.o;
7 - The querent. The attitude and influence of the querent, and the role they play in the situation.
Tears For Fears - Everybody Wants to Rule the World Um; your guess is as good as mine at this. ^^; "Help me make the most of freedom, and of pleasure... nothing ever lasts forever." Hm... take each day as it comes, and enjoy it...?
8 - The environment. The surroundings of the querent in this situation (possibly reflecting family, friends or work relationships).
Steps - Here and Now I'm stumped at this one. x.x; It's a fairly generic 'love pop song'... fast beat, promises of love and "forget all your sorrows", unable to live if they're apart, etc. ^^; That someone'll 'be the one' "here and now". I guess... if it reflects friends and family... they'll be "here for me"? *^_^*;
9 - Hopes and fears. This card shows how the querent is feeling about the possible outcome of the situation.
Goo Goo Dolls - Iris Another that I'm not quite sure on. c.c Hesitation, unsure about things, I suppose. ^^;
10 - Final outcome. This is how the situation will play out.
Gray Lightning, SnappleMan - Secret of Mana, "Distorted Star" OCremix A remix of the Mana Fortress theme - flying in the sky. I guess it would mean... a challenge/destiny ahead? Nearing the end of the journey? o.o
