Lazy squaw can make for a loose string, but if you tack down at about every fourth or fifth bead, it'll hold up pretty well, especially if you make sure to keep the bead string nice and tight.
When I'm doing lazy squaw, I also like to actually stitch in with the bead string every so often, depending on how long of a run of beads I'm doing. Wish I hadn't sold my last piece last year or I'd take a picture for you.
But keep going on this one... just think, you'll have it done in time for NEXT year!
