Air Raid and Ratchet… trading off murders? Hoo boy. Um… Hm @__x;
Originally, I'd say Air Raid was gunning for Dirge and/or Ramjet (retaliation for him shooting his tail in "Cosmic Rust" ^.^;), and Ratchet's target was Sideswipe. ((he finally got on Ratchet's nerves ONCE too many times? ^.^;; I'm just being random and more than a little silly with this. *weak shrug, and chuckles*))
So… now Air Raid's target is Sideswipe, and Ratchet's target is Dirge and/or Ramjet. (but… given the blogs… I'd say he has more of a gripe with Dirge, so we'll say it's Dirge he's going after. ^^;)
Ratchet might be able to get away with it. Being a medic, he'd know all the vulnerable points on his victim… where the least amount of effort can produce the maximum amount of damage… and how to make it look like a freak accident, or something that would have occurred naturally.
However, his target isn't that EASY of a mech to get close to… c.c; Ratchet'd have to be REALLY subtle and sneaky, if he's going to get close enough to Dirge to knock him offline or anything. c__c;; Maybe he could poison his energon? ^.^;
Air Raid loves things big, bold and brassy. He's not one for subtlety. He'll try to take out his target in a rather grand, decisive way. Thus, he has a MUCH higher chance of getting caught. c__c; And given what a scrapper Sideswipe is… `Raid'll have a hard fight on his hands, in a direct fight. X.x He has a good chance of LOOSING said fight. ^.^;
If Ratchet succeeds, doubt there'd be many repercussions. X3 The Decepticon's'd be angry and miffed, no doubt… and he might be targeted, but… if he was careful, they might not even know it WAS Ratchet that did it. ^^; If Ratchet doesn't succeed… well… big repercussions to the Autobots. :( They're down their CMO… The grief alone'd probably hit them pretty hard.
… whether or not Air Raid succeeds, the repercussions aren't good. The very FACT that he dared attack Sideswipe means Sunstreaker'll be gunning for him now. X.x; Not even the other Aerialbots'd be able to protect him, then. ^.^;;
… I think `Raid got the short end of the stick with this. ^.^; Ratchet probably PLANNED it this way… sneaky, devilish CMO. ^_~
