Well... as with every year, I liked the con... The con itself was great. As far as I know. Sadly, though, this was one of my personal WORST cons, ever... as I was sick for most of it. T_T Started coughing late Friday night... started getting weak on Saturday, and couldn't keep anything down... I tried to work, but... did only a half-shift I think. c_c; But Sunday... I -- and one of the two girls sharing the room with me -- were so sick that we spent ALL of Sunday, flat on our backs in our bed, the whole day. We didn't get out of that room once, Sunday. -__-; I'm finally starting to regain my strength, and keep stuff down now, but... half of Saturday, and all of Sunday at the con I completely missed due to illness. So... not fun, no. ;__;

What I DID manage to see of the con, though, was really quite good. We were in a fantastic venue this year. Huge, open... a decent amount of stuff around it (though it lacks a general convenience store nearby). It was right in the heart of downtown Seattle. I could see the "Seattle Public Market" sign way down at the end of the street. XD I took a photo of it -- hope it turns out. Had I been feeling better, I might have wandered around to look at a few things a bit more, but... even a tiny walk around the block, looking for a store that sold popsicles to try and help sooth my scratchy throat proved a bit too much (and the search came up empty, too).

The Dealer's Room was great -- one large room, this time... :3 Lots of space to go up and down the halls, without feeling squished or that it was risky to move up and down the aisles... Artist's Alley was spread out all along the rim/walls of the Dealer's room. The Con was split up by levels, this time, since we could make use of that... :D Con Operations, offices and the like were all on the 2nd floor. Gaming was on the 3rd floor. The Dealers Room, theaters, and Registration was on the 4th floor. And special events and other panels were on the 6th floor. :3

Registration got nifty booths to work behind this year... XD The ones working that-day registration also had cash registers. :) I worked Pre-Reg this year... nice and easy... *lol* I also did some data-entry near the end... A bit tedious, perhaps... but not hard.

Loved the AMV contest this year. That was the one thing I really wanted to see. :3 Did a quick run of the Dealer's Room on Friday. Spent almost all my spending budget, but... I got everything I was looking for. *lol* ^_^;; The FMA 2nd box set, and the other FMA dvds I was missing... as well as a bunch of variuos trading cards. :3 Thanks, Dessa, for starting to teach me how to play the Suikoden Card Stories game. Next year, I'll use all my duplicates as one large deck, and we'll try playing again. *lol* ...... and I also got a little Boo plushie, from the MegaTokyo booth. ^.^;; He squeeks. XD

The other events and panels, of what I did see, looked good. Loved peeking in at the Classic Console Gaming room. XD Old-school rules!

And... I WOULD have more to say, but... yeah. The Sickness. ;__; Worst I've ever had, I think, in all the times I have been sick at Sakura Con. x___x But finally starting to regain my strength now... slowly. I hope my friends are okay, and get home safe and sound.

Can we have ONE Sakura Con without any major drama... or can this be the last "drama"... please? Thank you.

I do have photos -- have to finish my last roll (dunno how long that'll take), then develop them.... but you know me. NO promises on when these'll ever be up by. ^.^;;
