Enjoyed my holidays this year. ^^ Small, just Mom, my grandparents and me, but small can and is nice. :3 Mom prepared the dinner this year, and I helped. She did most of the cooking and baking, I assisted with the turkey... and set the table and decorated the house. ^.^ As per tradition, we all watched the Christmas Carol with Alistar Sim on Christmas Eve (black-and-white, natch X3)... then had dinner Christmas day, and opened the presents then, too. ((usually, we actually open the presents on Christmas Eve, but by the time the movie finished, it was way later than we expected, and we were so tired, so we opened them after dinner on the 25th ^.^; Heh. More 'classically' traditional... but since doing the dinner takes a lot of work, we'd switched present-opening to the 24th ^.^;))
Anyway... lots of cool stuff. :D

DVD of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Purdy's Chocolate - yum! :9
cash for a new umbrella.... which I sorely need.... XD *lol*

Back at work, now... Hooo.... I REALLY feel for anyone in retail. I -- thankfully -- do not work retail, but this has been the busiest December ever, in terms of my working. @_x; Granted, yes... I only have had a steady job for the past two Decembers... but I've really put in my hours this month. @_x; Can't wait for the middle of Jan, when our 3rd guy comes back from vacation, and I can go back to my Fri-Sat-Sun schedule. ^^;;
BTW... anyone wondering WHERE I've been, online, the past few days... there's something wrong with my ISP at home. :/ I haven't touched anything at the back, and everything's connected up right at the front/modem, but... for some reason... it's just not connecting. And, of course... this being the holidays, coupled with my hours at work... I can't get to the tech. support during their working hours. I might try calling when I get home tonight. They hopefully should be there. But... I've been without Internet at my home for about 3 days, now. :/ So... yeah. That's why I haven't been on much, lately, outside of work. ^.^;;
