after sleeping on it...
Sep. 17th, 2005 10:05 amMet the lady yesterday... who bought the whole place. She seems like a nice enough lady... I just hope she's a good business woman.
I'm still worried. After all, I'll be the one with "senority", now, here. Me. Seniority. And I haven't even been working here a year, and for the most part, I've only worked weekends. Oi. @_x;
She also wants the changeover to happen October 3rd. That's two weeks. Two weeks. That's not enough time. Heck, when I was hired, I 'apprenticed', so to speak... sat around, watched, was taught how to do the job for about two to three weeks. That was just the training, getting the hang of doing everything, before going solo. Not to mention everything else that has to be dealt with, in the changeover! @_x; 6 weeks would have been better. My (current) boss said 6 weeks would have been better. Not 2. 2 is too soon.
Ah well... X_x; As my mom said... the BEST thing I can do is just take it day. by. day. It's not my problem, not my worries...
The nice thing is that my boss said that if I do</I have any troubles/questions, to still call them and ask. That's REALLY nice of them. I'm gonna miss working for them. As of now, as a 'rookie', there are 5 other people I can go to, if I'm confused about something, have a question, or a problem. They're a safety net. ... and I won't have that safety net much, any more. So yeah... I'm stressed. I'm worried. But... yeah. Take it day by day... see how things go... and just HOPE for the best...
