the sound of silence
Aug. 21st, 2005 11:59 amIt's so quiet today... so calm. Something woke me up at around 5:30am, for some reason... (I didn't have to be up 'till 7), and everything was so still... Even when I did head out to go to work at 8, things hadn't changed much. There was very little traffic, even for a Sunday it was quiet... There's a... calm in the air... Soft, almost gentle like. It's still quiet, even now, at lunchtime. I don't know what it is. There's a breeze in the air, I hear the occassional seagull and hum of traffic, but... ... it's just all so QUIET.
Relaxing quiet. Peaceful stillness. It feels like the type of day to just laze around outside... At the moment, I feel as if I would like nothing more than to take a picnic lunch to Stanley Park... find a nice, grassy, shady spot along the Seawall... and just SIT back, snooze, and relax. It's just so low-key, the feeling in the air today. ^.^
If it feels like this tomorrow, I just might head off to Stanley Park... walk around the Seawall... rest and relax.
