Gah! It is pouring today! And I got caught out in it... x.x; Now, I don't hate the rain; far from it. To live in Vancouver, you have to be able to put up with the rain. Rain makes things green... rain makes things grow...

...it also makes you very wet x.x; But I'm getting ahead of myself...

The day started off fine. I woke up, and took the Skytrain to Gilmore, to drop off my resume at a possible job. It's packaging incense, but hey... a job's a job. One of the unions for the film industry was nearby, so I decided to go in, and see what sort of jobs they have. To work behind the scenes in film is one of the things I'd really like to do ^^; But each job was out of my reach; they needed a driver's licence, and all sorts of previous experience....

HOW IN THE WORLD ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO HAVE EXPERIENCE IF YOU CAN'T GETEXPERIENCE?!?!?!

Whoo.... that feels better. ^^; But seriously, that's something that really gets to me. I can understand the supervisors and managers and all for wanting people to know what they're doing, but... ... Even jobs that are close to entry-level-jobs... everywhere... They're all looking for 2 years expereience in this field... two years experience in that field... How is anyone supposed to get in, then? How are they supposed to get that experience, when all the jobs offering that experience, only hire people who have that experience?! X.x;; Aiya... It's a nasty circle, and it's enough to make me want to bang my head against a wall... >.<;;

::bonk!:: ::bonk!::

There... that's better x.x

Well, anyway... Like I said, I can understand the people hiring their desire to have experienced people... It's just hard for those without the experience to get their foot in the door, and all... -.-;

Well... cue heading for lunch... and my umbrella suddenly went lopsided as I closed it. Confused, I looked at it, and found the very end of it, where the stick meets the umbrella part, to be bent! O.O; Startled, I nonetheless went in for lunch... and didn't think much of it. I figured it would last me until I got home.

Wrong!

I go outside after lunch, and my umbrella is even more lopsided! I look up, and hold the edge of the umbrella, to take a look at it... and it comes off in my hand!! O_o;;; So there I am, on the corner of Lougheed and Boundary, the umbrella handle in one hand, the umbrella top in another, and getting rained upon x.x;;

Aiya.... what a day x.x; So I walk from Boundary to Gilmore to get back to the Skytrain station to get home. Thankfully, it wasn't raining that hard, until I was in a block's distance of the station, that is X.x; Then, there was the walk home from where the bus dropped me off ^^; All-in-all, not as bad as it could have been.... but I am STILL soaked! X.x;; Oi.... such is the way of things in Vancouver.... ^_^;;;
