I've sold a few things on Ebay and it's really not that bad. Definitely check out the "completed listings" to see about how much he goes for. I would start off the auction at the bare minimum you'd be willing to let them go for (within reason of what they're worth on the market) and then see how it goes. Worst case scenario, I think you'd just be out about a buck or so.
