Manga thoughts

uftakiJust read the latest One Piece chapter, 609... and a (very RANDOM!) thought just occured to me, regarding a "who" question brought up in it. It's WAY out into left field... oh-so-very-much so... and is most likely - nay, 99% definitely WAY off base, but... hey. It's fun to ruminate, right? ^.^;; "Wild Mass Guessing" and all that.
Since this contains massive spoilers, my ramblings, again, will go
... Okay. So Sanji's bleeding out heavily, and needs a blood transfusion. Everyone's wondering just WHO will give him that new blood transfusion, as apparantly it's extremely rare.
A lot of people are thinking it might be a mermaid, or a fishman. It would go towards bridging the gap a little, between the three races, possibly... and it might also turn out to be who would become the next crew member. Now, the way things are shaping up, with the discussions everyone is happening IN the chapter, this actually seems quite likely. A mermaid/merman/fishman stepping past the racial boundaries to help him out would fit in nice and neatly. It's definitely a very logical progression. No real shocks, here. Question then, is just is it someone we already know (Hatchan? Jimbe?), or is it a completely new character? Most likely the latter. This is probably what's going to happen, given all the set-up that's been coming so far.
Then there came the wild thought to my head, scanning some images on my computer... and to go WAY OUT TO LEFT FIELD... Since they're heading for the docks, where other humans are (even though there haven't BEEN many/any there recently)... what if someone from the PAST makes a reappearance?
I'm saying that this idea REALLY is way out there, and I'm probably far, FAR off on who it is, if Oda even IS bringing someone from the past back, but... Hey. WILD SPECULATION, AHOY!
What if it's Gin?
Gin did say he'd try to get stronger, and return to the Grand Line, and meet up with Luffy + Co. again. Granted, he WAS in terrible health at the time, but hey... others have pulled through, in worse conditions, right? ._.; Now, they’ve already had their “you saved me, I saved you” moments in their introductory arcs, so there really isn’t the onus of ‘repaying a debt’ here, but... *shrug* Again. This is just a WILD, RANDOM idea that flew into my head upon glancing over some images. ^.^; I’m just throwing this idea out there, as a wild speculation. Only 1% chance of this actually happening... IF THAT. All the set-up/discussions on human/fishman relations is being laid out WAY too much, to throw a curveball like this. But hey. This is just for the crack/fun of it.
... And I’ve no idea how to wrap this up, so... there you have it. Wild, crazy, random, completely-illogical and NOT trying in to the threads/hints already in place, so... take what you will out of this. Just thought I’d ramble on and throw it out there. I’m certain there are OTHER crazy speculations, too. ^.^; Someone else from the past? Hey... maybe a link to his pre-Orbit past/family!? *shrugs* Anything goes!
.... addendum. Additional thought/idea. Even LEFT of left field. .... .... Bon Clay? Did you miraculously escape? Oh please? Oh pretty-pretty-please?(and Sanji owing his life to an Okama... after the 2 years he's been through? Wonder how he'll feel about THAT!)
